Amy Diaz-Newman lives in Glenside, PA and teaches Visual Art to Upper School students at Abington Friends School, a Quaker institution. She taught art for ten years at Esperanza Academy, a Philadelphia charter high school with a special focus on Latino culture, and at Project Flow, a summer camp with a focus on water ecology. She received her BA in Art History from Rutgers University and a Post-Bac in Art Education from Moore College of Art & Design. She has exhibited her work at Taller Puertorriqueno, Raices Culturales, and Fleischer Art Memorial, among other Philadelphia venues.
