David Love received his BFA and MFA degrees from The Columbus College of Art and Design and Pennsylvania State University, concentrating on printmaking and drawing. He has been on the faculty of a number of prominent art schools including Moore College of Art and Design and The University of the Arts. Love currently teaches at Germantown Academy, while continuing to explore his own work. His most recent series, “Musings and Meanderings”, explores a fascination with identity through personal symbolism and an embrace of accidental processes. Love is a member of “Prints Link Philadelphia” a group that promotes printmaking in the Philadelphia region. He recently presented talks at NAEA and PAEA Annual conferences. He is the recipient of numerous grants and Germantown Academy’s Professional Achievement Award in teaching.
